The story of America’s first Black generals, Benjamin O. Davis Sr. and Benjamin O. Davis Jr., is one of courage, perseverance, and historic achievement. Together, this father and son duo contributed to the creation and success of the Tuskegee Airmen, which paved the way for the integration of the U.S. military. These Invisible Generals left a lasting legacy, expanded opportunities for future generations, and helped shape the military we know today.
This blend brings together 7-year-old whiskeys from Tennessee and Indiana with 4-year-old whiskey from Kentucky. After blending, the whiskey was finished in Madeira casks, adding layers of dried-fruit sweetness and gentle wine character to its rich caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak notes. It is bottled at 112 proof—a tribute to one father, one son, and two generals.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich dark cherry, raisin, caramel, and brown sugar lead the nose, followed by hints of baked apple, orange peel, toasted almond, vanilla, and warm oak. A subtle wine-driven sweetness gives it depth without overpowering the underlying bourbon.
Palate: Velvety and fruit-forward, opening with caramel, vanilla, baked apple, fig, and dark cherry. Mid-palate brings toffee, honey-roasted nuts, cinnamon, cocoa, and toasted oak, with the Madeira adding a sophisticated layer of dried-fruit sweetness and gentle wine character.
Finish: Long, warm, and layered, with lingering notes of fig, raisin, dark cherry, cocoa, toasted almond, vanilla, and seasoned oak. A touch of cinnamon and gentle tannin develops at the end, leaving a refined balance of sweet fruit and dry oak.
